  • Day 1 — Tuesday 17th September

    Today depart from Australia for Amman.

  • Day 2 — Wednesday 18th

    Upon arrival transfer to your accommodation. The rest of the day is at leisure.

  • Day 3 — Thursday 19th

    This morning, visit the Citadel. Later in the morning, transfer to Mt Nebo where Moses was shown the Promised Land. Continue on to Wadi Musa (Petra). The rest of the day is at leisure.

  • Day 4 — Friday 20th

    This morning, enjoy a half-day guided tour of Petra, the ancient Nabataean city. Walk through the "sik " down to the Treasury. The afternoon is free to explore the site further. You might want to climb the 700 steps to the Monastery.

  • Day 5 — Saturday 21st

    After breakfast, proceed to Beida also known as Little Petra. Continue south to Wadi Rum. Enjoy a 2 hour safari until sunset. Enjoy a zarb dinner.

  • Day 6 — Sunday 22nd

    Early morning, leave Aqaba and cross the Israeli border. Transfer to Ein Bokek and enjoy a float in the Dead Sea.

  • Day 7 — Monday 23rd

    This morning, travel to Masada. Start your visit at . Visit the ancient fortress built by Herod and the last outpost of Jewish Resistance after the 66AD revolt. Continue on to Jerusalem. En route stop in En Gedi. The rest of the day is at leisure.

  • Day 8 — Tuesday 24th

    Enjoy a full-day guided tour of the Old Jerusalem. The tour includes a visit to the Western Wall tunnels (which feature remains from the second temple period), and the Temple Mount where the first temple built by Solomon was located. In the afternoon, visit the Valley of Elah.

  • Day 9 — Wednesday 25th

    Enjoy a full day excursion of Jerusalem's surroundings. Explore the Kidron Valley and Valley of Hinnom, Mount of Olives and the Garden of Gethsemane. In the afternoon, visit the Pool of Bethesda where Jesus healed a paralytic man who had been sick for 38 years (John 5:1-12). Finally, visit Hezekiah's tunnel that was built to divert water into Jerusalem in preparation for the Assyrian siege.

  • Day 10 — Thursday 26th

    Today, visit the Israeli Museum. The visit includes the Shrine of the Book where you will be able to see the Dead Sea scrolls, and the scale model of Jerusalem as it was before the 70CE destruction by the Romans. Your tour also includes a visit to a permanent exhibition called Archaeology of the Land of Israel. You will have the chance to see royal inscriptions and seals bearing the names of different kings of Judah and of Israel including Ahaziyahu, Uzziah, and Hezekiah as well Jehoram, Jeroboam and Menahem. The rest of the day is at leisure. Explore the Old City, including the Cardo and enjoy free time in the Arab market.

  • Day 11 — Friday 27th

    Travel to Qaesarea where you will enjoy a guided-tour of the archaeological park. Continue on to Megiddo, site of decisive battles. Continue on to Mt Carmel for a visit, then visit the Nazareth Village. After the visit, transfer to the Sea of Galilee and check in at your accommodation.

  • Day 12 — Saturday 28th

    Travel to Capernaum where you explore the archaeological park as a group. Visit Mt of Beatitudes. Enjoy a cruise on the Sea of Galilee followed by a visit of a 2000 year old fishing boat located on Kibbutz Ginosar.

  • Day 13 — Sunday 29th

    This morning, cross the Jordanian border and meet your guide. Transfer to Amman. En route, visit one of the Decapolis: Jerash. Explore the theatre, Hadrian's arch and the hippodrome. Return to Amman and enjoy a free afternoon in Jordan's capital.

  • Day 14 — Monday 30th

    Today, transfer to Queen Alia International airport for your flight back to Australia.

In order to confirm this tour a AUD 500 non‐refundable deposit per traveller is required. Final payment is required no later than 65 days prior to date of departure.
